Raleigh (Trojan Roller Drive)
1953

An ‘oily rag’ (unrestored, and as it would be at the time of use), the Raleigh bicycle with 1953 Trojan Mini Motor has a rear-wheel frame-mounted dynamo for road lighting, and a genuine hide-top seat. It is also equipped with a two-speed crossbar-mounted gear lever, attached to Sturmey-Archer gearing when in bicycle mode (low- and high-gear), and the engine starting is assisted by a decompression lever. The Raleigh has front and rear rod brakes, and is V5 registered.
