Moto Guzzi Dingo 50 Gran Turismo
1971
The Moto Guzzi Dingo Gran Turismo has a novel front kick-start engine, and a centre stand. This vehicle is V5 registered.
During the 1950s, practically the entire European motorcycle industry was in trouble with the rise of small cars and scooters. Mopeds became popular everywhere, and there were even many manufacturers outside Italy who started producing mopeds completely composed of Italian components. Italian mopeds were popular because of their sporty design.
The Dingo GT (Gran Turismo) appeared in 1967 with the four-speed pedal gearbox. It was similar to the Super. In 1970 Gran Turismo obtained the new 50cc engine with slightly different cooling fins, a different crankcase and another gearbox.
